This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies (local storage, session storage) Gloowly uses, what they do, and how to manage them.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make sites work efficiently and to provide information to the site owner. Similar technologies (like local storage or session storage) serve comparable purposes and we treat them the same way in this policy.
Categories we use
- Essential — required for the platform to work (authentication, security, abuse prevention). These cannot be disabled while you use Gloowly.
- Preference — remember your choices (theme, locale, cookie banner consent).
- Analytics — help us understand which features are used, where users get stuck, and how to improve. Aggregated and de-identified. Disabled by default until you opt in.
We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.

Managing cookies
You can:
- Use the cookie banner at the bottom of the screen the first time you visit Gloowly to set your preferences.
- Change browser settings to block or delete cookies — note that blocking essential cookies will sign you out and prevent payments from working.
- On iOS / Android, use the system-level privacy controls to manage tracking permissions and clear app storage.
