Where does Gloowly operate?+
We launched in Sydney first. Melbourne is next (Q1 2027), then Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth, Adelaide and Canberra. Join the waitlist to be notified when we hit your city.
How are stylists verified?+
Every Gloowly Pro passes: Australian Federal Police background check, Stripe Identity (government ID + selfie liveness), Cert III in Hairdressing upload, and active Public Liability Insurance — all checked annually.
What if I'm not happy with my cut?+
Service Guarantee: if you rate ≤ 3 stars with a written reason within 24h, our ops team reviews. Eligible cases get a partial or full refund, and the booking is reviewed for our pro's standing.
Can I cancel a booking?+
Free cancellation > 24h before. 50% fee for 1–24h cancellations. 100% fee for < 1h or no-show. Your stylist's time is their living — we keep this fair to both sides.
Is payment secure?+
Yes. We use Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1), the same payment processor trusted by Shopify, Lyft and Amazon. We never see or store your card details.
Do I tip my stylist?+
Not required and not expected. The advertised price is the final price. If you want to express gratitude, leave a 5-star review with a note — it carries more weight on our platform than a tip.
